CMT's Next Woman of Country Kimberly Perry
As one-third of the Grammy® Award-winning superstar sibling trio The Band Perry, Kimberly Perry has racked up sales of over two and a half million albums, thirteen million singles, and over 2 billion combined streams. As a songwriter, her groundbreaking crossover #1 single "If I Die Young" (with its current 9x platinum status and over 200 million video views) helped Kimberly burst on to the world stage. As an entertainer, she's performed on TV's biggest shows, from late night's most influential (The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Late Show With James Corden, The Late Show with David Letterman) to daytime's most popular (Ellen, Good Morning America, The Today Show), as well as performing and presenting on multiple CMA and ACM award shows and specials. After touring the globe and playing on some of its biggest stages, her first love is songwriting and it remains the force that drives her today. After inking a global publishing deal with Warner Chappell and Songs & Daughters, Perry released "Bloom" her first EP as a solo artist and is gearing up to embark on this new chapter.
Sony Music Nashville/River House newcomer Georgia Webster initially gained attention when her song “Tell Your Mom,” went viral on TikTok. Fast-forward to today, and her new song “Push & Pull” has more than nine million views, proving there’s more intriguing music where that came from.
A native of Hampden, MA, Webster grew up listening to a variety of music. Her sassy spirit may have been influenced by singing along to pop songs on the radio, but her love for great storytelling comes from listening to country music. Though she’s young, Webster is an old soul, and her songwriting reflects a depth and mindfulness that was influenced by hours of listening to Josh Turner, Tyler Childers, and other acclaimed singer/songwriters. Webster honed her craft by attending the prestigious Berklee College of Music’s songwriter camps, and her natural talent blossomed.
Though her success on TikTok brought offers from pop and rock labels in New York and Los Angeles, Webster knew she wanted country music to be her home and signed with Sony Music Nashville/River House.
Webster says writing songs is her therapy, and she was excited to take the creative process to a whole new level in the recording studio. Working with songwriter/producer Paul DiGiovanni (Sam Hunt, Lauren Alaina, Jordan Davis, Dan + Shay), “Tell Your Mom” has been transformed from a TikTok sensation recorded in her bathroom to a radio-ready single.
