Jumping Jack Flash
THE STONES. The very name conjures up mental images of the British Invasion, The Greatest Rock & Roll Band In The World, and 50 years of magical music—the soundtrack to our lives…
It was the 70’s, and British rock & rollers ruled the world of entertainment. Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones swaggered and staggered across the biggest stadiums in the world. But rocketing to global super-stardom closely on the heels of The Stones came the brash young upstarts, Rod Stewart & The Faces. These bands featured the two sexiest and most electrifying singer/entertainers that the world had ever witnessed!
All rock & roll fans will remember that the Stones hired Ron Wood away from Rod Stewart (thanks Rod!). Also that Rod & The Faces had hits with the Stones’ “Street Fighting Man” and “It’s All Over Now” (written by Bobby Womack).
“Stones & Stewart” takes the audience back to this magical time in the 70’s/80’s. Jumping Jack Flash as the Stones and Gregory Wolfe as Sir Rodney deliver the one-two rock & roll knock-out punch! Thrill to the biggest hits from the Rolling Stones’ and Rod Stewart’s song catalogues. The whole room is dancing as Rod prances in his famous yellow suit to “Hot Legs”, and rockin’ as Mick gyrates to “Start Me Up”.
Just when the audience thinks it can’t get any hotter, the “Stones & Stewart” show delivers the show-stopping finale of Sir Mick and Rod the Mod together on-stage for a mash-up spectacular finale!
