San Francisco's Super Diamond has become one of the most popular live shows at major nightclubs, theaters, ballrooms and public events throughout the United States. For over a decade the band has consistently performed sell-out shows at venues such as Irving Plaza in New York, 930 Club in Washington D.C., Bimbo's in San Francisco, and House of Blues venues in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego, Cleveland and Dallas to name but a few.
At these venues Super Diamond has generated an exuberant audience response previously unheard of for a tribute band. Many would say that Super Diamond has transcended the label of "tribute band" by passionately immersing themselves in Neil Diamond's huge repertoire and delivering a high-octane show of unforgettable classics such as Cracklin' Rosie, Sweet Caroline, Forever in Blue Jeans and many others.
Super Diamond delivers a glittering, smoke-filled show performing Neil's power ballads and up-tempo hits with unrestrained enthusiasm. The show is pure entertainment - classic music combined with fun, energy and passion - creating nostalgia for the good old days and excitement for today's generation.
Dave Lebental is a California based independent recording artist who writes, produces & releases original Rock, Americana, Singer Songwriter & Blues. He performs his 2 albums of original material live with both his rock band “Karma Train” and his Americana/Blues band "The Driftwood Souls". He also performs solo on acoustic guitar/piano.
For the past 18 months Dave has been touring his “Long Player” LP and now is doing dates in support of his new “Race to The Bottom” EP. Tour dates have been at concert venues in Los Angeles (The Whisky), San Francisco (Ashkenaz), San Diego (Humphreys), Orange County (The Coach House) & Ventura County (The Canyon Club). His fans have turned out and made every show a success for the promoters.
Dave puts on a great live show. That’s why his fans keep buying tickets and coming back for more. His live sets vary depending on whether the venue is seated or standing. At seated concerts, he features his more subtle original songs that make for great listening. At open floor venues, he stacks the set list with high energy numbers that get the crowd rocking out.
So who is Dave Lebental and what’s his backstory?
Dave was the singer-songwriter behind the 90’s rock bands Sunflower and Placebo Royale. The latter released an independent album, “Crème de Mentia”, that charted on CMJ and created an underground following. Both bands were a fixture on the California rock club circuit. Dave built a dedicated live fanbase while playing shows on the west coast. Dave has appeared on the bill with Mick Taylor, Jane's Addiction, Midnight Oil, X, The Blasters, The Plimsouls, Mitch Easter, The Tubes, Edgar Winter, Leon Russell, The Bus Boys , Gilby Clarke, Wire Train, The BoDeans, The Three O’Clock, Fishbone, and more. In those pre-internet days, Dave made lasting fans by word of mouth.
Fast forward to today, Dave is active on social media, texting & messengering to get the word out about his live shows & new releases. His audience has responded by buying tickets to his shows and rocking his merch. It’s a very cool rebirth of an underground recording artist and his dedicated fans. In the last 2 years, every Talent Buyer has asked Dave to come back for a return engagement.
