It’s hard to imagine that the world-famous composer who wrote “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”, “Something”, “Here Comes The Sun”, “My Sweet Lord”, “What Is Life”, “Handle With Care”, as well as many other huge hits, would be content ‘just playing music’ in a hotel. However, few stars of his era were as at peace with the world, and their place in it, than George, the ‘quiet’ Beatle. His music, and its timeless, spiritual message, is as relevant today as it was when the Beatles were still recording.

About us

By George is New England’s one and only George Harrison cover band! We perform music from all eras of his career: his solo music of the 70s, 80s, and 90s; his work with the supergroup Traveling Wilburys; songs that he wrote for other artists such as Eric Clapton, Jools Holland, Ringo Starr, and others; and of course, the Beatles.
By George is led by David Lauria, longtime musician and teacher from the New England area.

The musicians that make up Slowhand - A Tribute to the Music Of Eric Clapton hail out of Orange County California. The six band members are seasoned pros, come together from all over the USA. Eric Claptons’ immense catalogue was too much of a temptation for these musicians to resist, so work began on Slowhand in September of 2021. Slowhand is much more than a show of Eric Clapton songs. There is a historical element to the show - following Clapton's growth as a musician from the beginning of his involvement in music to his current status as one of the greatest guitarists in the world.
