The award-winning, hard-touring, guitar slinger blends smoking electric funk and slide guitar, jazzy instrumentals and a tight blues groove with soulful, feminine vocals. Add to the mix her incredible stage presence, all of which makes her an irresistible force in the world of contemporary blues music.

Called 'one helluva a guitar-player' by Bruce Springsteen and nominated for seven Blues Music Awards, Ana was added as the only female guitar-player to the 2014 -'18 all star Experience Hendrix lineup; a nationwide tour celebrating the music and legacy of Jimi Hendrix with Buddy Guy, Eric Johnson, Jonny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and many more world renown artists.

She appeared on the cover of Vintage Guitar and Guitar Player magazine. Her albums 'Can You Stand The Heat' (2013) and ‘Unconditional' (2011) where Pick-Of-The-Week by USA Today and featured on NPR Music. Her album POWER (2023) made it to #1 on the Billboards Blues Charts - THE list of best selling albums nationwide.

You’ll find Popovic in a select group of excellent modern blues guitar players. One reason could be the fact that she’s always willing to work a little harder and travel a little further to master her craft. Ana and her powerful band are tirelessly touring, playing major blues, jazz and rock festivals. She is endorsed by Fender, D'Angelico, Jim Dunlop and DR strings. She has shared headlining stages with B.B. King, Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark Jr. and many others. When not on tour, she resides in Los Angeles, CA.

Guitarist, singer Ana Popovic is back on the road promoting her new album 'Like It On Top', that focuses on empowered, successful, inspiring female role models. Recorded in Nashville, TN, and produced by four-time Grammy winner Keb’ Mo’, the blues influenced album features guest appearances from Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Robben Ford and Keb’ Mo’.

A trending theme in today’s world is women overcoming obstacles and breaking through the glass ceilings to reach the top. Like It On Top celebrates those that take initiative, develop, inspire and motivate. But it also credits the men who are motivated and enlightened enough to support women in their quest to be their best versions of themselves.

“I hope that my music inspires others to motivate ladies all over the world to be successful, energetic, empowered women on a mission, and to motivate men to give them that chance,” Popovic says. “The majority of women need to work harder than men to prove themselves or need to cope with a feeling of constant pressure to never make a mistake and be perfect. I believe that women no longer only have the right to earn a living and to take care of themselves and their families. The time has come to step it up. Becoming the outstanding leaders of tomorrow. Corner-office ladies in business, politics, and the electric guitar!”

Growing up in Orange and LA County, these California natives were exposed to everything from classic rock, rockabilly, punk rock, country and of course the blues. Blues had a special attraction to them and over the years they have developed a sound that is appreciated by blues lovers and people new to the genre.

The name “Juke Joint Preachers” came about as they preached the joys and sorrows of blues music and its history to anyone that would listen, which as it turns out, is a rapidly growing fan base.  They are a high energy blues band now based in Orange County, CA . Lead by harp player/singer Juke Joint" Anderson with guitarist/singer Scott Gronsky, drummer/back-up vocals Bob McBurney,  bassist L'angelo D'Silva and on keys/back-up vocals Chris McKinney.
These band members have shared the stage or played with some of the greats like BB King, Bobby Rush, Tab Benoit, Guitar Shorty, James Harmon, and many more. Gracing the many stages, club venues and festivals in Southern California.
The key word to describe them is FUN!! They bring with them an energetic party every time they hit the stage. With influences ranging from Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters to the infamous 90s' Blues band The Red Devils. These guys are seriously a good time.
